Thanks to all those who came out to the 2016 Green Homes Tour last Saturday! We had great discussions with attendees about the residential building community in San Diego and improvements we can make in our own projects to contribute to a better society.

The Shed takes shape

The roofs and walls are covered with Tyvek to help create a tight building envelope, to keep air and water out and reduce the energy needed to heat and cool buildings.

Welcome to THE SHED

The Shed will be a contemporary, 4-unit development on Vulcan Avenue in Encinitas, just steps from the beach and the coaster. We broke ground on construction in January 2016 and are estimated for completion in December 2016. It will be built as a GreenPoint Rated project, which is a certification that signifies resource-efficient, environmentally conscious, and durable construction. This blog is intended to monitor construction progress and highlight the GreenPoint Rated Measures taken into consideration.
